Career Development for Rady Alumni

Rady is proud to offer an array of opportunities for alumni to continue to grow and develop after they graduate.

Personalized Coaching Sessions

Rady alumni now have access to dedicated professional career coaching and services provided by a professional certified coach. Alumni are able to receive customized, one-on-one guidance, and can schedule up to two one-hour individual coaching sessions. Receive feedback on resumes, cover letters and offer letters, as well as ask specific career-related questions. 12Twenty

12Twenty is an online career management tool and is used exclusively for Rady graduate business students. As an alumnus, you are able to access the system for job postings, research (salary) tools, and the employer database. If you graduated after 2016, you likely already have an account; if you do not remember your login/password, please contact: Stephanie Sperow at ssperow@ucsd.edu. If you graduated before 2016, we will need to manually create an account for you. Please reach out to: Stephanie Sperow at ssperow@ucsd.edu for assistance; in the email please provide your UCSD email address, the Rady program you graduated from, and your graduation year.

Rady Career Management Center Website

The Rady Career Management Center (CMC) website is your 24/7 digital career center, housing all our career resources and links to online systems. As an alumnus, you can register for an “alumni account” to access password-protected resources. To create an account:

  1. Navigate to the website: https://career.rady.ucsd.edu/
  2. In the top right corner, click on “sign up”
  3. Under “select your role,” choose “alumni”
  4. Type in email address and click “continue”
  5. You will then be asked to verify your email  
  6. Once you verify your email, you will be asked to create an account with a password
  7. From there you can select your preferences and complete your sign up.

Audit Rady Courses

You must be registered on The Rady Network in order to receive class auditing information. Register here: The Rady Network

Rady alumni may audit Rady MBA courses, contingent on space availability, a completed application, and a signed Class Auditing Policy document. Up to five auditors per class will be allowed. Enrollment into these classes will be at the discretion of the Rady School. 

  • Classes can be audited either remotely or in person. In-person auditing is open only for elective Rady School classes. At this time, remote auditors will have access to class recordings and materials through Canvas but cannot participate in class sessions.
  • There is no fee to audit courses.
  • Canvas access will be provided for both in-person and remote auditing.
  • Alumni auditing a class in person will be provided with a prox card.
  • Alumni auditing a class in person are responsible for their own parking arrangements (information will be provided).
  • Alumni auditing a class in person must introduce themselves to the instructor at the start of the first class meeting.
  • In the event there are more applicants than allotted slots, priority will be given to alumni who have not previously audited any classes. If needed, auditors will be chosen by a random lottery.

Handshake is used by UCSD and offers a wealth of career development tools and job search resources. Log on to Handshake to search the job board, access resources, or register for an event. To access Handshake, alumni will need their username and password to login.
